PROJECT LEADERSHIP
Experienced in strategic visioning, project planning, timeline execution, internal and external communications, budgeting, grant writing, and stakeholder engagement to drive impactful, outcomes-based initiatives.
WORK-BASED LEARNING - Creating real-world connections is key to future-ready learning. To expand student access to career exploration, I led the planning and execution of 14 industry tours, introducing 350 students to employers such as F5, T-Mobile, and Boeing. I built internship pipelines across fields including healthcare, technology, and the arts, aligning hands-on experiences with students' post-secondary goals. Through strategic outreach and employer engagement, I increased worksite learning participation by 280%, with 40 local businesses offering paid, credit-bearing opportunities. To maintain engagement and visibility, I also developed a dedicated webpage to streamline communication with students and families.
COLLEGE & CAREER FAIRS - Helping students navigate post-secondary pathways requires both strategy and connection. I supported the College Readiness Department by leading communications and marketing efforts for a district-wide Career & College Fair in October 2023, attended by hundreds of students. To extend access and age-appropriate exploration, I also produced a tailored event for middle schoolers, featuring 21 virtual speakers from diverse industries—including trades, STEM, public service, business, and the arts. This initiative engaged over 800 participants across two events and strengthened school-to-career awareness through direct, interactive experiences.
HIGH SCHOOL & BEYOND - I led the implementation and management of a district-wide High School and Beyond planning platform serving over 5,300 students. This work included creating internal and external communications for students, families, and district leadership; coordinating monthly data reports to track engagement and inform strategy; and aligning implementation with state requirements. I collaborated with cross-functional teams to enhance the user experience and served as a district representative to OSPI, contributing input on statewide college and career readiness initiatives. I currently serve on a state-level planning committee supporting the equitable rollout of a new platform designed to guide all Washington youth in their post-secondary planning.
